Option Samurai has always been committed to providing traders the best tools to succeed in the market. As we enter the fourth year of ongoing development, we are thrilled to introduce the Q2 2023 version of our software.

Improved Data Engine Process:
In an effort to provide traders with the most up-to-date information, we have overhauled our data engine process to deliver faster and more frequent updates. This enhancement increases scan speed and data update speed.
Live UI Updates:
Gone are the days of refreshing the page to see updated information. With the Q2 2023 version of Option Samurai, we have implemented live UI updates, allowing you to view data changes without needing a page refresh. This feature streamlines your scanning experience.
Open Interest Report:
Last year we launched our Center of Mass report and built the infrastructure to send special reports to our annual users. Now, We’ve added a new report – the Open Interest report. This report analyses where the ‘center’ for the options is, based on the open interests. You can read more about this report – in the Knowledgebase article.
New Filter for Controlling Strike Distance in Options Spreads:
This was a highly requested feature. Many users that trade spreads and iron condors want to control their risk and reward VIA the spread width. To give you more control over your trades, we have added a new filter that allows you to control the strike distance in options spreads. For example, you can set a $5 distance between the short and long strikes in a vertical spread. This feature enables you to customize your risk and reward profile, providing greater flexibility in your trading strategy.
Bug Fixes and Improvements:
We have continued to improve the platform and fix bugs. Some of our changes improved the rate-limiting and formatting in Excel, improved the scenario engine to account for bid-ask spreads, improved texts in the app, and much more.
The Q2 2023 version of Option Samurai enhanced the data engine and the UI to create a better scanning experience. We’ve also added a new filter for controlling strike distance and numerous bug fixes and improvements. We are continuously working on Option Samurai. You can expect more features and improvements in the future that will continue to improve the software and increase your edge in the market.
